Though Albert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Albert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Sue Stevens; his parents, Hoke Stevens and Hazel Stevens; and his daughter Mindy Michelle Stevens. He is survived by: his caregiver Patricia Capps; his son Matthew Stevens; his siblings, Otis, Alfred Stevens and Jeanette Crisp; and his stepson Barry Almond.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greene Funeral Services - South Chapel (1503 S York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the Pineview Cemetery.
