He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Rayfield and Selma Rayfield; his wife Betty Rayfield (Drury); and his sisters, Joyce (Horne) and Judy (Gates).
He is survived by: his son Robert "Todd" Rayfield; his daughter-in-law Mary Kay Rayfield of Hickory; his granddaughters, Kaitlyn Flanagan (Isaiah) of Knoxville, Jordan Gragg (Trevor) of Granite Falls and MacKenzie Smith (Aaron) of Hickory; his great grandchildren, Indie Rae Flanagan of Knoxville and Wyatt Joel Flanagan; and his son Kenneth Rayfield.
