She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Tarpley George (Susan Mabry Suttles George) and Anita. She is survived by: her husband John Paul Friday (Jack); her grandchildren, Rachel Elaine Hylton Heider (John), Emily Marshall Hylton Jean (Patrick), Mary Abigail Hylton, Elizabeth Friday Hylton (Birdie Burchenal), John Paul "Jake" Friday II, Joshua Michael Friday (Gwen), Sarah Regina Friday (Jacob Tye) and Rebekah Faye Friday; and her great grandchildren, Soraya Mirabelle Jean, Sebastian Xavier Jean, Jackson Michael Friday and Romeo Raife Hylton. She is also survived by her children and their spouses.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parkwood Baptist Church (1729 E Garrison Blvd, Gastonia, NC 28054). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
