She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Eason and Jean Welsh Eason. She is survived by: her husband W. B. Massey, Jr.; her children, Will Massey (Amy) and Julia Stephanie Massey; her grandsons, Jackson and Gregory Massey; and her brother Eugene Eason, Jr..
