It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Mason of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Ann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ann. Though Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Nanke and Naomi Nanke. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Dean Mason; her children, Julie Richards (David), Daniel Mason and Timothy Nanke (Kerry); and her grandsons, Ty Richards, Jonathan Logan Nanke, Justin Nanke and Cody Richards. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
