And Savior on 04 January 2025 at 85. She died at home with her Husband. Barbara became a Christian very early in her life and served Him eagerly. Barb loved Star, her horse. She loved Mignon and Wendy, her dogs. Barb spent her personal time drawing and oil painting.

Barbara was the firstborn child of Lorene Lucille and Clebert Othell Shafer. Her daughter Rebaca Homes and her sister Betty Clarkson preceded her in death.

Early in her life, Barb worked as a draftsperson at NASA Space Center. She finished her career as a Property Manager (Apartments, Town Homes, and Condominiums).

Barbara loved horseback rides, sailing, and traveling. Barb was always happy (smiling and laughing).

Barbara was an Alzheimer's patient for eleven years and died peacefully at home.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 42 years, William H. "Bill" Scott, who lives in North Carolina (their home), and her brother, Mr. Roy Othell Shafer (Houston, TX).
