He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Ervin Raby, Sr. and Margaret Bondurant Sain. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hoffman Raby; his children, Kim Beverly (Shane), Paige Golding (David) and Barry "Chip" Raby, Jr. (Amy); his grandsons, Chase Beverly (Savannah), Gabe Beverly (Lindsay), Wesley Golding (Meghan), Garret Golding, Landon Raby, Nolan Raby and Cale Raby; his great grandchildren, J. J., Clara and Ander Beverly; and his siblings, Claude Raby (Sissy), Buddy Sain (Judy), Sandra Baxter and Linda Saine.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Maylo United Methodist Church, 1900 Spencer Mountain Rd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
