He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Moore and Ollie White Moore; his children, Susan Roxanne Moore and Bobby Gene Moore; and his brothers, Bill Moore and Samuel Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Moore; and his daughter Tracy Scott (Jack).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home and Cremation (2916 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Gaston Memorial Park (1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hardin Community Baptist Church, 538 Hardin Road, Dallas, NC 28034.
