He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin "Ben" Brown and Otis Hager Brown. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hyde Brown; his son Jeff Brown (Amy); his grandchildren, Tyler Brown (Paige), Gage Brown and Delaney Brown; his great grandchild Kolbie Brown; and his brother Larry Dean Brown (Becky).
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home (2916 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the South Point High School Big Red Booster Club or the Cowboys of the Cross Rodeo Ministry – Lifesong Family Church – Lifesongfamily.org.
