He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Dianne Heffner; his children, Michelle Smith (Steve), Kim Pendleton (Mike) and Chrystal Sanders (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Emma Vaughn (Payton), Brooke Pendleton and Benjamin Sanders; his great grandchild Baby Vaughn; and his sister Loretta Trammell.
