He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Lee Armstrong and Florence Ava Short Armstrong; and his sister Shirley Brackett. He is survived by: his wife Mary Staley Armstrong; his children, Todd Armstrong, Johnny Armstrong and Amanda Armstrong Weaver; his grandchildren, Destiny Armstrong, Dameon Armstrong, Tristen Armstrong and Declyn Weaver; his great grandchild RayLynn Thompson; and his sisters, Jane Armstrong and Diane Cromer.
