He was predeceased by: his grandmother Irene A. Murphy. He is survived by: his parents, Michael J. Murphy and Laura Jones Murphy; his siblings, Amber Ownbey (Wes), Jeremy Bumgardner (Summer) and Tyler Brannon; his niece Lily Bumgardner; his nephews, Nolan Ownbey and Josh Bumgardner; and his grandparents, Ray Murphy of Denver, NC, Linda Stiles of Gastonia, NC and Thomas B. Jones Jr..

The family invites those who wish to honor Brayden's life to make donations in his memory to the No Brainer Foundation, an organization close to his heart.
