It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brooklyn McDaniel of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 13, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Brooklyn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her grandfather Thomas Jones of Gastonia, NC.. She is survived by: her parents, Andrew McDaniel and Diana McDaniel of Gastonia, NC; her siblings, Kayla Becraft, Jaiden McDaniel, Arielle McDaniel and Roman McDaniel of Gastonia, NC; and her grandparents, Roger, Peggy McDaniel of Gastonia, NC, Brenda Jones of Gastonia, NC, Robert Livingston Jr. of Newport, Oregon and Tara Marie Wolf of Endicott, NY. She is also survived by her many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Morning Star Lutheran Church (1509 Idlewild Road, Matthews, NC 28105). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
