We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2025, at the age of 72, Carolyn Lejuenue Padgett Wade of Gastonia, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt James Padgett and Marie Millsap Padgett; and her siblings, Harley Padgett, Mott Phillips and Bobby Padgett.
She is survived by: her husband Ron Wade; her daughter Dawn Coley Boyd (Chris) of Mount Holly; her stepdaughters, Jennifer Dowell (Cary) of Belmont and Jamie Wade of Belmont; her sisters, Ann Rick (Larry) of Cramerton and Gwen Lingerfelt (Steve) of Cramerton; her grandsons, Christopher Boyd, II (Danielle Whitlow) and Justin Boyd; her stepgrandchildren, Gavin Dowell and Cassidy Burgess (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Parker, Emery, Ryan Boyd and Jaiden Sands; her nephew Michael Rick; and her pet Echo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the West Cramerton Baptist Church (5006 Wilkinson Blvd, Gastonia, NC 28056). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Cramerton Baptist Church , PO Box 368 Cramerton, NC 28032.
