She is survived by: her husband Ervin Stone Sr.; her sons, Alex Stone (Barbara) and Michael Stone; her siblings, Glenn Floyd (Susan), Rodger Lewis, Penny Lewis and Carol McKinney (Milton); her grandchildren, Stephanie Barkley (Dustin) and Logan Lovelace; and her great grandchild Alexa Barkley.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church (1326 Cedar Ave, Gastonia, NC 28054).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Cedar Grove Baptist Church 1326 Cedar Avenue Gastonia, NC 28056, in Cathy's memory, a testament to the faith she cherished throughout her life.
