Christine Hart Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christine Hart of Gastonia, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Jones and Grace Grindstaff Jones; her husband Charles Luther Hart; and her brothers, Gary Jones, Dale Jones and Marshall Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Evington (Scott), Charles "Wayne" Hart and Jimmy Hart (BJ); her siblings, Allen Jones, Buddy Jones, Cecil Jones, Faye Baker, Linda McMahan and Karen Yearwood; her grandchildren, Zach, Luke Evington (Brittany), Jennifer Hart Vanous (Brandon), Michele Tyler (Wes) and James Renna (Edrianne); and her great grandchildren, Maggie Evington, Eden, Mason Tyler, Kadyn and Sylus Renna.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors Founders Chapel (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
