Clara Faggart Griffin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clara Faggart Griffin (Gastonia, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Faggart and Helen Faggart; her husband Hubert Neal Griffin; her sister Colleen Rainey; and her sibling's children, Greg Reynolds and Kathy Rainey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Griffin and Kelly Griffin; her granddaughter Andrea Ledbetter (Stephen); her close friend Donna Burgess; and her sibling's children, John Rainey, Thom Rainey, Eric Reynolds, Jeff Fritts and Paulette McEver.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Maylo United Methodist Church (1900 Spencer Mountain Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Maylo United Methodist Church, 1900 Spencer Mountain Road, Gastonia, North Carolina 28054.
