With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Danny Roger Thompson of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on October 20, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlin Lester Thompson and Merle Vineyard Stacy Thompson; his wife Roseann Rosdahl Thompson; his brother Morris Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Christine Gray, Donna Rosdahl, John Gray and Don Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Rosdahl Thompson and Daniel Brett Thompson (Ashley); his siblings, Faye Brown and Jerry Thompson (Phyllis); and his siblings-in-law, Vicky Thompson, Lloyd Rosdahl, Jr., Henry Rosdahl (Sandra) and Dean Rosdahl. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crowders Creek Arp Church Cemetery (207 Crowders Creek Church Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spirit of Life Church, 450 S Myrtle School Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052, Michael J Fox Foundation, or the PAN foundation.
