He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Goins and Nell Shull Goins; his daughter Samantha Faulkner; and his siblings, Charles Kistler, Bill Kistler, Betty Joe Gilbert, Jane Bumgardner, Tommy Goins and Frances Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Oaks Goins; his children, Brian Goins of Shelby, Kimberly Robb of Maiden, Carrie Hope Franklin of Cherryville, Rayna Rourke of Jupiter, Florida and Dale Goins of Jupiter, Florida; and his brothers, Harold Goins of Cherryville and Bobby Dean Goins of Cherryville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
