She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Rhyne and Beatrice Starnes Rhyne; and her husband Harold Laye. She is survived by: her sister Jeanette Clary; her nephew Mike Payne (Susan); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Chris, Jay and Jonathan Brackett.
