Ed Kuykendall Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 9, 2025, at the age of 53, Ed Kuykendall (Gastonia, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn "KirK" Edward Kuykendall, Sr. and Carolyn Callahan Kuykendall; his former wife Melissa Sain Kuykendall; his brother Larry Kuykendall; his brother-in-law Kevin Black; and his son-in-law Nathan Reynon.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Dover Kuykendall; his children, Jade Tyson Bryant (Christian) of Kings Mountain, John Kuykendall, Elijah Kuykendall (Katlin) of Shelby, Rebekah Reynon (Jake) of Toluca, Hannah Kuykendall (Van) of Toluca and Coby White; his sisters, Kelly Barnaby (Ron) of Grover and Wendy Kuykendall Harmon of Grover; and his grandchildren, Cobe, Malachi, Jordon Tyson-Bryant and Jasper Kuykendall. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
