She was predeceased by: her parents, Artie Thomas and Clyde Thomas; her daughter Lori Bunce Giang; and her son-in-law Michael Giang. She is survived by: her siblings, Dr. Jerry Thomas and Inez Jones; her son Daniel Clyde Bunce; and her grandchildren, Daniel Wade Bunce (Hailey Cline) of Havelock, NC and Sarah Elizabeth Giang (Tanner Bearden) of Middletown, CT.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery (8220 Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28390).
