She was predeceased by : her parents, Gladys Altman (Greer) and Joseph Tipton. She is survived by : her husband Chiman Patel; her grandchildren, Robin Wykle II, Josh Wykle (Elise), Misty Clewis (Tim) and Brandi Strange (Trey); her great grandchildren, Makayla Wykle (Austin), Lex, Jax and Gabe Strange; and her sister Faye Drum. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A reception was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Gaston Memorial Park (1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
