She is survived by: her husband David Anthony "Tony" McGinnis; her granddaughter Berklee Clay McGinnis; her daughter-in-law Whitney McGinnis Gruidl (Mat) of Fort Mill, SC; her siblings, John Withers (Jeanette), Lewis Withers (Cindy) of Charlotte, NC, Joe Withers (Cecille), Dallas, Tommy Withers (LeAnne), Teresa Porter (Alex) of Concord, NC, Rachel Withers (Dean McElveen) of Gastonia, NC, Catherine Jamieson (Gene) of Simpsonville, SC and Chris; and her sister-in-law Mary H. Withers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and over a dozen grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home (2916 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home and Cremation (2916 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A burial was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at the Philadelphia Lutheran Church (1910 Philadelphia Church Rd, Dallas, NC 28034).
