He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Barnett and Eunice Barnett; and his siblings, Mable Stephens and Danny Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Barnett; his daughters, Vickie Cook and Dawn Lackey; his stepchildren, Leigh Ann Nycum (Robin) and Marty McDaniel; his sisters, Linda Hodge, Mildred Barnett and Debbie Perkins; his grandchildren, Cole Nycum, Luke Nycum, Shauna Nycum, Gavin McDaniel and Logan McDaniel; and his pet Brodie. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
