It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Marie Stalcup (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Glenn A. "Butch" Stalcup Jr.; her parents, Thomas Jennings Porter and Ollie Baker Porter; and her grandson Jude Porter Como. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Shelton and Nikki Como (Kiley); her grandsons, Levi Shelton (Brittany), Elijah Como and Ethan Como; and her great grandchildren, Lydia Shelton, Henley Shelton and Ophelia Shelton.
