He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Cannon and Bessie Moton Cannon; his wife Violet Keever Cannon; and his brothers, Jim, Buster and Billy Cannon.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elaine Wells (Darren), Linda O'Daniel Faulks, Susan Cannon and Brenda York (Brian); his sister Ruth Lewis; his grandchildren, Amber Carter (James), Matthew Wells (Charlene), Michaela Wells, Bethany Merritt (Zack), Anna Wells, Andrew Wells, Dylan O'Daniel (Aimee), Montana Reiser (Ryan) and Ashley York; and his great grandchildren, Tucker, Nova, Blake, Grey, Bailey, Emmett and Reece. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like memorials to be made in lieu of flowers to Samaritan's purse in Mr. Cannon's Memory.
