With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George H. Lins of Gastonia, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Howard Lins and Myrtle Ruth Lins (Machette); and his sisters, Katherine Frey and Bernadine Weigle. He is survived by: his children, Michael J. Lins (Becky) of Belmont, NC and Teresa A. Pfirman of DuBoistown, PA; his child-in-law Shawn Renninger of Montoursville, PA; his grandsons, Joseph Lins (Daniella Sniffen) and Andrew Lins (Sara); his great grandchild Emma Lins; and his sister-in-law Mary Lee Eck of DuBoistown, PA..
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that memorial donations in George's name may be made to Saint Joseph's Center, 2010 Adams Ave., Scranton, PA 18509 (Adopted Children's Program).
