Glenda Huffstetler Cox Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on October 26, 2025, at the age of 89, Glenda Huffstetler Cox (Gastonia, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Linwood Huffstetler and Mary John Green Huffstetler; her husband Barry Cox; her brothers, Henry Lee Huffstetler, Larry Huffstetler and David Huffstetler; her sister-in-law Ann; her siblings, James Huffstetler and Barbara Hedgepath; her siblings-in-law, George Adams, Judy Moody and Martha Johnson; and her in-laws, Cyril and Vivian Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Huffstetler (Nancy) and Dawn Sams; her sisters, Patricia Adams and Lynnelle Dobbins (Steve); and her siblings-in-law, Betty Huffstetler and Mark Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The National Historical Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, honoring Glenda's lifelong love of history and dedication to helping others.
