With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hubert A. Jenkins (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Graham, North Carolina, who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hubert A. Jenkins to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Horace Jenkins and Florence Edna Jenkins; his wife Rosa Stepp Jenkins; his stepson James Stepp (Spud); and his siblings, Kenneth James Jenkins, Julius Charles Jenkins, Junior Jenkins, Genevieve Cable and Lenore Jenkins.

He is survived by : his stepchildren, Patricia S. Lewis (Randy), Ann S. Bradshaw (Johnnie) and Starr Stepp. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, 8 nieces and 3 nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Masonic Lodge 369, A.F. & A.M, PO Box 1383, Gastonia, NC 28053.
