He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clement McDaniel and Lessie LeCroy McDaniel; his wife Donna Yvonne Hager McDaniel; his son Timothy McDaniel; and his sister Dorothy Ann Heffner.
He is survived by: his sons, Scotty Dean McDaniel and Steven Anthony McDaniel; his grandchildren, Brittany Lynn Dellinger (Aaron), Kaitlynn Mobley, Anthony McDaniel, Grey McDaniel, Connor McDaniel and Shauna Marie Wallace; his great grandchildren, Leah Carmon, Lakelee Hope McDaniel, Brayden Dellinger, Patton Carmon and Kayson Dellinger; and his sister Gayle McDaniel Harper. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Life Baptist Church (614 S 11th St, Bessemer City, NC 28016). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
