She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Morrow and Sarah Morrow; and her siblings, Glenda Varner, Michael Morrow and Joseph Morrow.

She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Mathis Jr. (Melissa Mathis) of Gastonia and David Mathis of Gastonia; her grandson Evan Mathis; and her siblings, Betty Terry of Gastonia, Douglas Morrow (Deniese), John Morrow (Carmen) of Gastonia and Donald Morrow (Paula) of Gastonia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
