He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smith and Betsy Ross Moore Howe. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Watkins Howe; his children, Stacy Howe Knight and Jeffrey Kent, Jr. of Gastonia, NC; his daughter-in-law Yvette Burton Howe of Gastonia, NC; his siblings, Stephanie Reese (Bill) of Asheville, NC and Kelly Howe (Angela) of Hickory, NC; and his grandchildren, Grayson Howe Mumpower (Parker), Ryan Howe, Gabriella Knight and Mylah Howe.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
