He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ward and Lela Ward; the mother of his children Jeanette Hill Ward; his wife Daisy Ward; and his sister Margie Dameron.
He is survived by: his children, Brandon Lee Ward and Cheyanna Ward; and his siblings, Wesley Ward, Jr., Jimmy Ward and Rita Boone. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home and Cremation Service (1212 W Mauney Ave, Gastonia, NC 28052).
