He was predeceased by : his parents, James Lynch and Colean Lynch; his siblings, Sylvia Lynch and Wayne Lynch; and his nephew Dale Lynch.

He is survived by : his wife Teresa Benoy Lynch.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).

He fought a courageous 10-year battle with Parkinson's and Dementia which slowed his life, but never dulled his humor or smile.
