He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, John Steven Harrelson Jr. (Jan) of New York, Casey Blackburn (Matt) of Mooresboro and Brittany Stillwell (JT) of Clover; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Henry, Carter, Collins and William; and his siblings, Roger Harrelson of Gastonia and Beth Rexrode (Charles) of Bessemer City. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gaston Memorial Park (1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM.
