He is survived by: his children, Kyle Sapp of Gastonia, NC, Keetha Sapp Frey (Greg) of Gastonia, NC and Kassie Sapp Haynes (Andy) of Gastonia, NC; his brother Marshall Sapp (Ann) of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Kody, Olivia Frey of Lexington, KY, Casey Frey (Merideth Geib) of Indianapolis, IN, Jackson Haynes and Cooper Haynes of Gastonia, NC; and his great grandchildren, Shepherd and Bennett Frey.
