He is survived by: his wife Linda McFarland Roberts; his children, Scott William Roberts (Wanda Rauch) and Allison Roberts Gladen; his son-in-law James T Gladen III of Victoria, MN; his grandchildren, Chloe Elizabeth Roberts of Raleigh, NC, Josephine Rose Roberts of Belmont, NC and James T. Gladden, IV of Victoria; his niece Caitlin Tweed of Washington, D. C.; and his cousin Ed Richardson.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A reception will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
