He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Lee Deaton and Lillian Robinson Hill. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Cherry Deaton; his children, Travis Deaton (Susan) and Stephanie Deaton; his granddaughters, Hannah Simmons (Scott), Emma Deaton and Mae Deaton; his great grandchild Henry Simmons; and his sisters, Suzanne Payonk, Robin Roberson (Watts) and Kim McPherson (Randy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
