He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaynelle Young and C. O. Young; his brothers, Raymond, Martin and Rodney; his former wife Betty Harris Young; his stepson Scott Cline; and his close friend Carl Holt.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Cline Young of Gastonia; and his sons, Keith, Jr. (Suzanne) and David (Cathy) of Cramerton. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
