He is survived by: his wife Colleen Guffie Harwell; his children, Julie (Kirt Green) and Brian (Becky); his grandchildren, Hannah (Ashley Torrence), Austin Harwell (Kristin) and Chelsea (Austin Walters); his great grandchildren, Colby Jean and Raylin Lee; his aunt Mary Allison; his brother Wayne (Margaret Ann); and his sisters-in-law, Sandy (Melvin) and Brenda.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
