He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Stillwell and Helen Davis Stillwell; his wife Margaret Ledford Stillwell; and his siblings, Joan Oates (Mike Stillwell) and Woodrow "Pee Wee" Stillwell, Jr. (Becky S. Grant).
He is survived by: his daughter Donna Goodson (Joey); his grandchildren, Amanda Baxter (Teddy) and Aaron Goodson; his great grandchild William "Will" Baxter; his brother Gary "Dean" Stillwell (Ruby); his sisters-in-law, Delores Stillwell and Jill Stillwell; Zoey Armstrong. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Sisk-Butler Funeral Home (730 Gastonia Hwy, Bessemer City, NC 28016). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the Gaston Memorial Park (1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
