He is survived by: his daughters, Shelley Hooper Burgess and Jennifer Hooper Bertorelli (Gino); his grandchildren, Darien Bess (Kylie), James Burgess and Zana Huckabee (Austin); his great grandchildren, Lincoln Bess, Lucas Bess and Baby Huckabee; and his siblings, Kenny Hooper (Marie), Carolyn Hamrick (Ray) and Sherry Carpenter (Johnny). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.
