He was predeceased by: his parents, William Taft and Ruby Cabe Bryson; his sons, Louis Jr. and Daryl Dean Bryson; and his siblings, Douglas "Booty" Bryson, Gene Bryson, Larry Bryson, Roy Bryson, Betty Morris and Glenda Singleton.
He is survived by: his wife Claudette Payne Bryson; his daughter-in-law Denise Hudson Bryson; his grandsons, Alex (Shelley Bryson) and Zach (Sherri Bryson); his great grandchildren, Boone A. Bryson and Harper Bryson; his sisters, Linda Neikirk and Brenda Queen; and his sisters-in-law, Gloria Bryson and Carol Bryson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
