He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Moore Murphy and Rosa King Murphy; and his former wife Jo Ann Ewing Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Earleen Harris Murphy; and his children, Lisa Litaker (Hans), Marty Murphy (Deana), Gina Messer (Mark) and Haley Crotts. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
