Mary Digh Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Digh of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Amos Fox and Gladys King Fox; her husband Jerry "Tate" Digh, Sr.; and her siblings, Betty Baugh, Jimmie Kester, Bill Fox, Jerry Fox and Bobby Fox.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Digh (Eric), Lori Wood (Scott) and Jerry Digh, Jr. (Lori); her grandchildren, Tyler, Brooks (Genevieve), Landon, Wesley (Kaleigh), Emily, Erica and Lake; her great grandchildren, Maddie and Violet; and her sister-in-law Ann. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McLean Funeral Directors Founders Chapel (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
