With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lee Upton (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on February 22, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Alexander and Mary Alexander; her husband Harold Upton; her son Turner Kent Upton; her grandson Matt Robinson; her brother Ray Alexander; and her son-in-law Randy Spencer.
She is survived by: her children, Butch Upton (Kathy), Marilyn Spencer, Tina Cabe (Michael) and AJ Lawing (Melissa). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Grace Baptist Church.
