He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Daniel Cuthbertson and Ann Womack Cuthbertson; his wife Cecilia "Jo" Miller; his brother Freddie Cuthbertson; and his granddaughter Kaylan Cuthbertson.
He is survived by: his close friend Nancy Patterson; his children, Donovan Cuthbertson (Susan), Darren Cuthbertson, Dana Eidt (Brad), Robbie Patterson (Chris) and Emmie Patterson (Meridith); his siblings, Mickey Cuthbertson and Rebecca Cuthbertson; his sisters-in-law, Ann Cuthbertson and Wanda Miller; and his grandchildren, Daniel Cuthbertson, Dalton Cuthbertson, Devin Cuthbertson, Dawson Cuthbertson and Airel Brackett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
