With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rick Richard of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on September 3, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Edward Richard and Viola Whitley Richard; and his siblings, Edward Richard, Harold Richard, Bill Richard and Nancy Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Olivia "Livvie" Richard of Gastonia, NC; his children, Damon Richard (Kimberly) of Concord, NC and Dallas Pridgen (Jason) of Laurens, SC; his sister Carolyn Crisp; his grandchildren, Anna Richard, Katie Richard, Aidan Pridgen and Owen Pridgen; and his close friends, Vicki Bradshaw and Keith Capps. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
