He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Franklin Beckett and Helen Jefferson Beckett. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his daughters, Sarah Fisher (Will) and Martha Fuller (Patrick); and his grandchildren, Robert Beckett Fisher, Sarah Ann Fisher, Margaret Weathers Fisher, Harold James Fuller and Charles Caldwell Fuller.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Arp Church (317 S Chester St, Gastonia, NC 28052). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
